just on a side note, what are some of Bebe and baby's favorite foods?
I want to think of some new treats for sunnie and would love ideas ^_^

both Baby and BeBe like different foods and I believe from experience that they prefer fresh fruits and some veggies over the pet store dried sunflower seeds and other dried things ..and they also like something a little sweet too .. for instance , I put a small dolop of french vanilla ice cream(my wifes ,kids and my favorite too) on a piece of wood and they both will sit back and just lick that ice cream up and I believe they actually smile over getting that treat ..
both Baby and BeBe hate cheese (any kind) they love blueberries ..strawberries wheat crackers with no or very little preservatives lettece and spinach (fresh leaves) I find they actually like only about half of the pet store pre packaged bird food ..for instance ..I have never seen them eat sunflower seeds or peanuts although they do like to gnaw on the
shells to keep their teeth sharp. most floks treat the hamsters like mice but I have seen they do not care for what mice eat at all the best way to learn what they DO like is give them something ..like banana chips or lettace or whatever and watch them .. if they like something ..they almost always will sit and eat some of it and then they will stash it in a particular corner of their house ..but if they don't like it ..they won't chew on it at all they'll put it in what I call the dump ..that's separate from what they DO like and they won't eat it unless they are out of what they DO like ..with Baby and BeBe that NEVER happens cuz I pamper them
I have NEVER seen either of them eat a raisen..nor grapes ..but they love cherries with the pit removed ..they love corn ..cooked or dried .they love broccoli cooked or dry ..you get the idea .. I get used to what i see they like that we .the wife and I like and that they like too and that's what we feed them ..along with a bag of the store bought petfood too but I'm almost to the point where I'm going to stop buying that and feeding them good stuff that both they and we like

I wasn't really sure if hamsters are allowed cherries but i'll try to feed her a bit. ^^ Oooh i give her banana chips too, and btw do you know if 'roasted' peanuts contains salt? o.o i know they aren't allowed to have salted peanuts, that's why i'm a bit hestiant in feeding her roasted ones....

wherever you buy them they have to tell you if they contain salt .. I can't say i know..be sure if you give them cherries ..make certain you take the pit out ..that is bad for them my hams do not like peanuts at all ..they love walnuts filberts and they also love natural granola with no sugar or preservatives

Alright then, thanks XD don't worry, they won't eat the pit because i rarely give them an entire cherry XD i just give them enough so they can finish it in one 'chewing session'. or else it'll fall onto the woodshavings and get all gross *Shivers*
